Rooted Youth Summit 2026
Rooted in Identity. Equipped for Life. Connected to Community.
On 14 August 2026, Vox Humanitas Africa hosted the Rooted Youth Summit, bringing young people together for honest conversations, connection, learning, mentorship, and reflection on the realities shaping their lives.
The Summit created a safe and engaging space where young people could speak, be heard, ask questions, share experiences, and discover new possibilities. Through interactive sessions and meaningful conversations, participants were encouraged to build resilience, make informed choices, strengthen relationships, and embrace their potential.
The success of the Summit was seen not only in the gathering itself, but in the voices raised, connections made, questions asked, and hope renewed.
This is only the beginning. We are looking forward to bigger, bolder, and even more impactful Rooted Youth Summits, creating spaces where more young people can find their voice, discover their strength, and grow rooted for the future.

Vox Humanitas Africa Wellbeing Champions Host “Are You OK?” Community Workshop
Vox Humanitas Africa held an online “Are You OK?” Community Workshop on 20 October 2026 as part of the Commonwealth Youth Council’s mental health and wellbeing campaign.
The session was facilitated by AUNDE Aga Godwin, Founder and ED of Vox Humanitas Africa, and Dr. Cecilia Osyanju, Programmes, Partnerships and Strategic Development Lead. Both were selected as Commonwealth Youth Council Wellbeing Champions.
The workshop encouraged young people to engage in open conversations about mental health and explored four pillars of support: Ask, Listen, Connect and Act.
This initiative reflects Vox Humanitas Africa’s commitment to promoting youth wellbeing, reducing mental health stigma, and building supportive communities.

The engagement reflected on the connection between academic formation, community engagement, and responsible action, particularly in advancing addiction prevention, domestic violence, youth empowerment, family wellbeing, and human dignity.
A meaningful reflection, reaffirming that education finds deeper meaning when knowledge is translated into service of the human person and the common good.

Vox Humanitas Africa Participates in National Dialogue on Financing Clean Cooking in Kenya
Vox Humanitas Africa participated in the Workshop for the Financing Clean Cooking in Kenya Report and Roundtable on Increasing Financing for Women in Clean Cooking, convened by the Ministry of Energy and Petroleum (MoEP) and the International Energy Agency (IEA).
The dialogue examined financing, affordability and investment as critical enablers of Kenya’s transition to clean cooking, with particular attention to women’s participation in the sector.
For Vox Humanitas Africa, clean cooking represents more than an energy transition; it intersects with health, dignity, livelihoods, gender and sustainable development. It also demonstrates how entrepreneurship, innovation and sustainability can converge to address social needs while creating economic opportunity.
The transition therefore requires not only appropriate technologies, but also accessible finance, inclusive policy, innovation and locally responsive solutions.

Supporting the Launch of IMARIVA Foundation
Vox Humanitas Africa was honoured to support and partner in the launch of IMARIVA Foundation on 2 September 2026, marking the beginning of an important journey towards promoting mental wellbeing, healthier lifestyles, and stronger, more resilient communities.

We congratulate IMARIVA Foundation on this important beginning and look forward to continued collaboration in initiatives that promote wellbeing, dignity, resilience, and positive change, one life at a time.
